Festive season is all about loving, sharing, giving and together. I would like to take this opportunity to thank NepaliAustralian for awarding me with the Liebster blog award. My heartfelt gratitude and love for acknowledging and recognising my blog. To all those who have supported me by reading, liking and commenting on my posts.. a big THANK YOU! I feel like a part of I am all excited! Thanks to her, I have also learnt about this Liebster Blog tradition. Quoting NepaliAustralian and many others (after the quick research), this is what I’ve come up with :
Liebster means Dear(est), beloved or love in German. Yes, the “ich leibe dich” language So I’d rather call them the Ich leibe dich awards! The Liebster Awards is an acknowledgement of awesome blogs which have under 300 followers but is worthy of more recognition and merit. It is a chain of fellow bloggers aiming to publicise their favourite blogs in the blogosphere and boosting their morale whilst helping them to find people who connect to their lives. I find this awarding system a great encouragement to new bloggers or unrecognised bloggers to come under the limelight. After the research, I found out that many people have their set of Liebster Awards, so I decided to indulge myself to credit my favourites.
As per the many blogs I referred to, Liebster Award has some guidelines :
1) Showing appreciation of the bloggers who nominated you by linking back to their blogs.
2) Choose your top 5 favourite blogs and award them by linking back to their blogs.
3) Post the award on your blog.
4) Lastly, enjoy the love and appreciation you’ve got and share the blogging karma!
There are a lot of blogs I read, but here are my top picks (in no specific order)
I always enjoy her posts. They are usually infused with culture, colour and adventure! I can connect with the blog. When I first started blogging, I came across WordPress while looking up something on intercultural blogs, but since I started blogging, I’ve found much more interesting and because I feel I can connect with the views of the blogger, following becomes a pleasure. I’ve also got a lot of insight on Nepali culture thanks to M
Stumbled upon the perfect adventures and lifestyle of an intercultural lifestyle and the joys of adaptation. Another blog I look forward to sharing and learning experiences with. Love her detailed posts, very insightful. Nice blog Zoe
Witty, sarcastic and a answer to every stereotypical Indian. A great read and great humour. Anyone who’s associated with Indian culture or Asia for that matter, should have a read. Great blog there CE.
The one that inspired me to start a blog. When I googled, I came across AmericanNepali and I got to read and indulge in a lot of Nepalism through her blog. Marriage, culture, family and nepali lifestyle and so much. C, keep up the great work and the pictures are absolute eye candy!
